Free property compliance snapshot • Miami-Dade & Broward

What's your HauScore?

Your property has a compliance record. Most homeowners never see it until a closing falls apart, a refinance stalls, or a code letter shows up in the mail. The free MyHausFax™ Snapshot tells you whether there's anything to resolve — open permits, violations, recorded liens — so you know where your property stands before you do anything else.

The full MyHausFax™ Report — with your exact HauScore, every line item, and the resolution path — is included with every Permit Solutions Services engagement.

The number

A single 0-to-100 score. Pass, Review, or Fail.

A summary compliance rating for your property's public record. The HauScore™ on every MyHausFax™ Report tells you, at a glance, what the underlying data indicates about permits, code enforcement, and related public records for your property. The free Snapshot tells you which tier you fall into; the full Report gives you the exact score and the line-item breakdown. See the MyHausFax & HauScore Disclaimer for what these are and are not.

85 – 100
Low Risk

Few or no public-record indicators identified.

70 – 84
Moderate Risk

Worth a closer look — no major flags.

50 – 69
Elevated Risk

One or more documented issues need resolution.

0 – 49
Critical Risk

Material issues present that should be resolved before any transaction.

Every report also carries a status: Pass (80+ with no open issues identified), Review (50-79, or 80+ with open items identified), or Fail (below 50). The status summarizes what the underlying public-record indicators showed at the time the report was calculated.

Inside the full report

Five categories. One hundred points.

Your HauScore is the weighted sum of five categories. Each pulls from public government datasets — no opinion, no machine-learned guesswork, no hidden judgment calls. The full breakdown (with line-item detail and resolution paths for each issue) is part of the MyHausFax™ Report included with every engagement.

01 30%

Title & Legal

Publicly recorded document indicators reviewed for the property — recorded liens, lis pendens, tax-deed filings, judgments, and UCC filings. Not a title search, title opinion, or legal conclusion; a title professional and qualified counsel remain the sources of authority for questions about these instruments.

Miami-Dade Clerk of Courts · Florida UCC · Tax Deed

Code Compliance

Open code violations, building violations, and enforcement cases visible in public municipal and county records. Records may be incomplete, delayed, or reflect other operator-side limitations outside our control.

Miami-Dade Code Compliance · Building Violations · RER · Energov

03 20%

Physical Risk

Publicly available physical and environmental risk indicators — flood zone, coastal construction control line, hurricane evacuation zone, storm surge exposure. Not an engineering evaluation, environmental assessment, or insurance-underwriting decision.

FEMA · Miami-Dade Coastal · PAGIS · Emergency Management

04 15%

Financial Health

Publicly recorded property financial indicators — property tax status, homestead exemption, and related public information. Not a financial-condition analysis, appraisal, or credit determination.

Miami-Dade Tax Collector · FL Statewide Cadastral

05 10%

Permit Integrity

Active unfinalized permits, recently closed permits, and permit closure history — whether work on the property is documented with proper permits and final inspections in the public record.

Miami-Dade Permits

Important: MyHausFax™ reports and HauScore™ ratings provide informational property-risk and compliance indicators based on available public records and user-supplied information. They are not a title search, title insurance commitment, municipal estoppel, property inspection, appraisal, engineering evaluation, environmental assessment, legal opinion, insurance-underwriting decision, or guarantee that every permit, violation, lien, or property condition has been identified. See the full MyHausFax & HauScore Disclaimer for complete methodology scope, data-source limitations, and correction procedures.

Frequently asked

Questions homeowners ask before requesting their report.

What's the difference between the Snapshot and the Report?

The free Snapshot is a brief preview — it confirms whether your property has compliance items worth addressing, shows the HauScore tier band (Pass/Review/Fail), and counts the open items found. The full MyHausFax™ Report, included with every Permit Solutions Services engagement, contains your exact HauScore, line-by-line breakdown across all five methodology categories, citable source records, and the resolution path for each issue.

Is the Snapshot really free?

Yes. The MyHausFax Snapshot is free for any homeowner who calls or submits an address — no obligation to engage further, no credit card. The full MyHausFax Report (with exact HauScore and line-item detail) is delivered as part of an engagement, not as a free standalone deliverable.

Who sees my information?

Access is limited to the specialist preparing your Snapshot and authorized Permit Solutions Services personnel. Your information is used to research your property's public records and to communicate with you about the matter. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on how information is collected, stored, and shared.

What if my HauScore tier is low?

A low tier means there are documented issues — and almost all of them are resolvable. The Snapshot tells you the tier and the count of open items; the full Report (with engagement) details every issue and the resolution path. At engagement closeout you receive a MyHausFax™ Final Report showing your improved HauScore before-and-after.

Do I have to hire Permit Solutions Services?

No. The Snapshot is free regardless. If you decide to investigate further on your own or hire another firm, the Snapshot still tells you whether your property has issues worth investigating.

How is the HauScore calculated?

Five weighted categories scoring 0 to 100: Title & Legal Health (30%), Code Compliance (25%), Physical & Environmental Risk (20%), Financial Health (15%), Permit & Construction Integrity (10%). The methodology is deterministic — same property, same data, same number — and every point traces to a public government dataset.

What's the difference between MyHausFax™ and HauScore™?

MyHausFax is the report family — the Snapshot, the Report, the Final Report. HauScore is the 0-to-100 number printed on the cover of the full Report. The Snapshot shows the HauScore tier band; the Report shows the exact score.

How long does it take?

One business day for the Snapshot. The full MyHausFax Report is produced as part of an engagement (typically within the first week).

Do you serve Broward as well as Miami-Dade?

Yes. We pull from Broward equivalents of the Miami-Dade data sources for Broward properties. The methodology is the same.
