MyHausFax™ & HauScore™ Disclaimer
Last updated: July 18, 2026
MyHausFax™ is a property permit-and-compliance research report produced by Permit Solutions Services, LLC ("Permit Solutions") using publicly available municipal, county, and property records — supplemented by user-supplied information. HauScore™ is a summary property-compliance indicator that may be included with eligible MyHausFax reports. This page explains what those products are and what they are not.
What MyHausFax and HauScore are
MyHausFax reports provide informational property-risk and compliance indicators derived from available public records, user-supplied information, and other identified sources. HauScore is a compliance summary indicator based on the categories, weights, and inputs described in the published methodology.
What MyHausFax and HauScore are NOT
MyHausFax reports and HauScore ratings are not:
- A title search, title commitment, or title insurance policy.
- A municipal estoppel letter, permit-status certificate, or code-enforcement clearance.
- A property inspection, home inspection, or four-point insurance inspection.
- A real estate appraisal, valuation, or comparable-market analysis.
- An engineering evaluation, structural inspection, or life-safety assessment.
- An environmental assessment, wetlands delineation, or flood-zone determination.
- A legal opinion of any kind.
- An insurance-underwriting decision, insurability determination, or coverage opinion.
- A lending decision or underwriting-underwriter opinion.
- A guarantee that every permit, violation, lien, or property condition has been identified.
Data sources and limitations
MyHausFax reports draw on publicly available municipal, county, and property records — including permit databases, code-enforcement records, property appraiser data, and clerk of courts records — supplemented by user-supplied information. Public records may be incomplete, delayed, out of date, incorrectly recorded, or subject to systems the operator has designated as not-for-integration. We do not claim to identify every permit, violation, lien, or condition on a property. Where data coverage limitations exist for a specific jurisdiction or record type, we identify them in the report.
HauScore methodology
HauScore is a summary indicator built from weighted category inputs described in Permit Solutions' published methodology. The methodology identifies category names, their weights, and the categories of data sources used. Score calculation logic and internal review adjustments are proprietary. Category names and their scope are chosen to describe the underlying data — for example, "Title & Legal" refers to publicly recorded document indicators reviewed for the property and is not a title opinion or legal conclusion; "Financial Health" refers to publicly recorded property financial indicators and is not a financial-condition analysis. See the methodology page for the full scope of each category.
Report-level metadata
Each report identifies:
- The HauScore value and score version.
- The date the report was calculated.
- The public-record coverage date used.
- The jurisdictions searched.
- The categories included in the calculation.
- Data sources that were unavailable at the time of calculation, if any.
- A link to review the underlying findings and to request a correction.
Correction and dispute process
If you believe your MyHausFax report contains an error — for example, an incorrectly matched permit record, a lien that has since been released, or a violation that has been cleared — you may request a correction by emailing reports@permitsolutions.us with the report reference number and the documentation supporting the correction. We will review the request against the public record and update the report where warranted.

Not a substitute for professional advice
A MyHausFax report and HauScore rating do not replace independent legal, title, engineering, appraisal, inspection, insurance, or municipal-official verification. Property owners, buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, insurers, and professionals should independently verify the specific matters that affect their decisions.
